About Jeff Robson

Jeff Robson is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor treating adult patients diagnosed with mood, anxiety, and other mental health conditions that are negatively impacting major areas of functioning including relationships, work, health and emotional well being.  

Jeff earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Kent State University and his Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from the University of Akron. 

Jeff has wide ranging experiences in a variety of clinical settings, including: community mental health, hospital-based intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, chronic pain, and crisis intervention. He is trained in diagnostic assessment, individual, group therapy, clinical training and supervision. 

While providing care, he utilizes a broad spectrum of effective therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal skill building, and marriage/couples counseling to help bring about mutual understanding and enhanced communication skills between patients and their significant others. 

Jeff is efficient at getting to core issues and helping patients develop greater understanding of the barriers that interfere with making changes, all the while teaching patients the skills necessary to gain the emotional and behavioral control needed to move toward wellness.
